Mr. Cox is survived by his wife of thirty four years, Patty Cox; his son Jason (Emily) Cox, two grandchildren, Henry Cox and Hudson Lassiter; his mother, Geraldine (Bill) Boyd; his brother, Ira Cox; and a host of friends and extended family members.
